Oxygen Therapy

The course covers the skills and equipment which can assist with basic resuscitation. All candidates must have previous resuscitation knowledge.

All candidates will have the opportunity to administer oxygen in a controlled environment during the course.

Time is allocated for candidates to discuss any other first aid topics on request.

• Causes of Hypoxia/Asphyxia
• Importance of Oxygen
• Preparation of cylinders
• Administration of oxygen
• Contraindications
• Legislation
• Practical scenario work

A Certificate of attendance will be awarded on completion of the course.
